A.C. Whalan Composites specialize in the Design and Manufacture of Filament Wound Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP).

In 1995 the Company installed and commissioned the most technically advanced Filament Winding machine in Australia. This enabled us to develop & manufacture custom made Patented (FRP) Ventilation Ducting complete with Australian Minerals Department Fire Retardant Anti Static (FRAS) approval. A.C. Whalan's MV Ventilation Ducts have been a market leader since that time.

The composite team's ability to design & manufacture products to meet customer's specific project applications has resulted in numerous specialty products such as Pressure pipe, Tanks, Fittings, Wet Exhaust Tube for the marine industry and specials for the Defense Department.

In May 2007 the Company commissioned its second and Australia's newest & longest state of the art purpose built Filament Winding facility in Mt Thorley NSW. The opening of this facility has increased our capacity & ability to manufacture specialized FRP products for chemical & pressure applications. In 2010 we commissioned two new advanced multi - spindle winders increasing our production capacity.
